I just want to take a moment and reflect on our wonderful Comcast customer sevice experience.
We had some minor problems with our internet connection. It was mostly during the day, so I didn't really care.
My wife called Comcast customer service and reported the problem on Friday. The next morning (yes, a Saturday) a friendly service technician fixed our problem. And, this is the best part, my wife managed to get $20 off our August bill. I don't know how she does it, maybe she offered to dry hump a few people.
In related news: The dirty laundry was magically washed and folded again.

ReplyDeleteIt was nice to read the read story about what happened. I was also thrown off by the technical inaccuracies at that other blog: "the wireless connection we pay dearly to enjoy". Granted you bought the equipment for the wireless connection but that's minuscule compared to the service fee you pay Comcast for High Speed Internet access.
ReplyDeleteWas you're chicken pot pie ready too?
I was thinking the same thing about the "wireless connection", but I didn't see the point in correcting her. I'd just be giving her material for one of her "my husband is a nerd" posts.
ReplyDeleteThe chicken pot pie was fantastic. Although, it kind of tasted like almonds. Nary a bother.
I see you tagged this entry under "humor" --- that's a bit of a stretch, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteOh, and the post of mine to which you refer is already in the archives of my blog while you continue to try to get mileage out of this one for how many days now?
You spent all of that time working, nay, straining yourself to get your blog up and working and it's like stale bread.
In other news, your ironing appeared in the closet and there will be chicken casserole for dinner tonight.
Magic!
